Skogstad is a family business with roots in the mountains, fjords and glaciers of Norway, producing sports and leisure clothing since 1937. Its headquarters continue to be in the small village of Innvik in Nordfjord, where snow lies almost six months of the year and, due to the mountains, there is no sun from November 21 to January 21. The brand logo is a visualization of the beautiful surroundings in which the company was founded: to the north of Innvik there are kilometers of mountains stretching to the Arctic Circle; to the west there is a fjord 90 km, then the North Sea; to the east is the largest glacier in continental Europe; and to the south lies Pichen, a mountain that rises from the waters of the Nordfjord to reach 1,550 m at its peak.
