Upper Bavaria, Oberammergau, known for its woodcarvings, is located in the beautiful surroundings of the Ammergau Alps. Master glove maker Franz Ziener, who hails from the Erzgebirge mountains in eastern Germany, founded his glove manufactory here in 1946. What were once handmade are now technically innovative gloves for winter and cycling sports. For several years, the functional product specialist's portfolio has also been supplemented by a wide range of clothing. This long-established company, managed by Franz Zienner, the third generation of the family, is now one of the market leaders in the winter glove segment in Europe.
